What it does

A colored dot on every post. Warm colors are worth reading, cool ones usually aren’t.

Hover the dot for the breakdown. Seven scores, from how new the information is to whether the comments add anything.

Scoring

How a post gets scored

Marrow reads the post, the page it links to and the top comments. It scores the post from 0 to 100 on seven things, including how much real information it has, whether it’s new, how good the source is and whether the comments add anything. You see the result as a dot next to the title, and the full breakdown when you hover.

It keeps your subscriptions up to date

Marrow keeps a running score for every subreddit you see. When one keeps posting top-tier stuff, Marrow joins it. When one you’re in keeps posting junk, Marrow leaves it. It sends one notification a day when something changes.

Privacy

What Marrow can see

Your history stays on your computer

Your settings, your subreddit ledger and the list of posts you’ve seen are stored in Chrome.

Articles are read without your logins

Linked pages are fetched in the background without your cookies, so they don’t count against paywall limits.

Only Reddit pages you open

Marrow reads the Reddit pages you visit and the links in them. It doesn’t read your browsing history or any other site.

Scores are saved without your name

On Pro, posts are scored on our servers and the score is saved with no account attached. On Unlimited, posts go only to your own AI provider.

Setting it up

Add to Chrome

One click from the Chrome Web Store.

2

Sign in with Google

Signing in starts 7 days of Pro, free.

3

Pick your bar

Everything, Snack and up, Solid and up, or only Marrow.

After that you just use Reddit. Marrow runs in the background.

FAQ

Does Marrow change how Reddit looks?

Very little. Each post gets a small dot next to its title, and posts below your bar collapse to one line. The rest of the page stays the same.

Pro or Unlimited?

Pro runs on Marrow’s AI and includes 30 new AI scores a day, plus any post someone else already scored. Unlimited has no daily limit but runs on your own AI key, so your provider bills you for usage. Unlimited is also available as a one-time $59 lifetime purchase.

Will it join or leave subreddits on its own?

Only if you leave that setting on. It makes at most three changes a day and sends one notification listing them. You can undo any change for 30 days, and it never touches subs on your never-leave list.

What can Marrow see?

The posts on Reddit pages you open, plus the links and top comments it reads to score them. It never touches your browsing history. On Pro, posts are scored on our servers and only the score is kept.

What if a score is wrong?

Hover the dot and tap Too high or Too low. On Pro and Unlimited, Marrow learns from those taps and adjusts its weights for you.

Is Marrow made by Reddit?

No. Marrow is independent and works on reddit.com in Chrome.
